We value clinical excellence, collaboration, ethical practice, and a respectful experience for every patient.The OpportunityWe are seeking a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our NYC practice. This is a primarily virtual/telehealth role for patients in New York, with the possibility of in-person work in New York City based on practice needs and mutual agreement.Responsibilities• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans• Monitor symptoms, response, side effects, and treatment adherence• Provide patient education and support shared decision-making• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care clinicians, and other providers• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation• Participate in case consultation, team meetings, and quality-improvement activities• Practice in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented mannerRequired Qualifications• Active New York State RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses in good standing• National board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)• New York prescriptive authority and ability to meet all applicable prescribing requirements• Experience conducting psychiatric assessments and managing psychotropic medications• Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and time-management skills• Comfort providing high-quality care through telehealth• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the clinical teamPreferred Qualifications• Outpatient psychiatry or private-practice experience• Experience with complex or treatment-resistant psychiatric conditions• Familiarity with interdisciplinary and integrative models of mental health careSchedule and Work ArrangementPart-time, with scheduling to be discussed. xhyhwjd The position is remote within the New York City metropolitan area, with the possibility of mutually agreed in-person clinical work in NYC.Brighter NeuroTherapeutics is an equal opportunity employer.
